What your industry changes
- The template gallery — every industry gets its own designed presets (schools get welcome and cafeteria boards; restaurants get menu, promo, and loyalty boards; gyms get class & training boards; sports venues get scoreboards and ribbon boards).
- Categories and navigation — the filters and menu items match how your business thinks.
- Safety defaults — schools start with Emergency alerts armed (lockdown, weather, evacuation are core to K-12); commercial venues start with them off and can enable them any time.
- Sample content and AI tone — starter content and AI-written copy match your world.
Picking your industry
You choose it when creating your workspace. Not sure? Pick the closest — everything is changeable.
Switching later
- Open Settings.
- Find Industry and click Switch.
- Pick the new one — it applies immediately: gallery, categories, and defaults follow on the spot.
Your custom templates, screens, playlists, and schedules are never touched by a switch — only the ready-made catalog and defaults change.
Multiple locations
A parent workspace (a district, a franchise, a chain) can hold child locations, and each location keeps its own industry. A property group can run a gym, a restaurant, and an office lobby side by side — one login, the right experience at every location.
